DBTL
Our Story
DBTL has grown from a local freight forwarder into an international logistics provider with offices across Europe, Asia, and North America. Our expansion reflects our commitment to staying close to our customers and delivering consistent service through our own people, wherever they operate.
°2014 - Belgium
DBTL is a forwarding company originally founded in Belgium. We offer services in sea freight, rail freight, air freight, and road forwarding. While rooted in Belgium, DBTL operates globally with an extensive network of logistics agents
°2018 - Poland
We had the opportunity to expand into Poland, and DBTL Sp. z o.o. opened its doors at the end of 2018 in Gdynia, Poland. This expansion made it much easier for us to serve our customers throughout Eastern Europe.
°2019 - Portugal
We set foot in Lisbon, Portugal, expanding our reach to the Iberian market. This market perfectly matched our long-term plans and allowed us to serve the Iberian countries with our own local office.
°2020 - The Netherlands
We expanded once again, this time into the Netherlands. Rotterdam’s strategic location and its extensive intermodal infrastructure – including inland shipping and a well-connected rail network – align perfectly with DBTL’s and his customers’ needs.
°2023 - Vietnam
After the COVID pandemic, we looked beyond Europe for expansion. This led us to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The city’s strategic location in Southeast Asia and its significant business potential made it an ideal choice for DBTL’s growth.
°2025 - United States
In 2025, DBTL established its presence in the United States with the launch of DBTL US LLC. This expansion strengthens our transatlantic operations and allows us to support customers with direct access to one of the world’s most important logistics and consumption markets.
°2025 - United Arab Emirates
The same year, DBTL expanded into the United Arab Emirates with the launch of DBTL Shipping ME FZE in Dubai. Positioned at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa, Dubai serves as a strategic hub for our Middle East operations and our wider global network.
